The Billy Mays parody video was shot at livemercial’s corporate offices in Valparaiso, IN on September 4th, 2008 during Mays’ visit to livemercial. In addition to sharing stories and dining with Billy Mays during lunch, several members of the livemercial team actually composed the supporting cast for the Billy Mays video (including Director of Search, Matt O’Brien, who indeed drank the liquid after Billy wrung out the ZorbEEZ cloth into Matt’s cup). And, while we’re name-dropping, a loud shout out goes to Associate Vice President Jim Barnthouse for the video’s writing and directing genius as well as to Directors of Photography, Corey Morrison and Kevin Miller. Not to be overlooked, a shout out also goes to Production Assistant Nick Greiger for his endurance and dedication.
A great time had by all, complete with hopes of a similar event in the near future.

Billy Mays Honored during Livemercial Visit
“I’m shocked and surprised and touched,†confessed a gracious Billy Mays as his visit to livemercial ended at the company’s first Digital Cocktail Hour, a social networking event hosted by livemercial CEO, Johnny Mathis, Jr.
Mays received an enthusiastic applause, an engraved plaque and a message from Valparaiso, IN city mayor John Costas, proclaiming September 4th “Billy Mays Day.â€
Mays began his livemercial visit greeting the team, followed by an informal luncheon before filming a video with the livemercial team which will be played during the award ceremony at the Electronic Retailing Association convention in Las Vegas, NV.
Mays concluded his enjoyable visit to livemercial by telling the guests of the Digital Cocktail Hour, as only Billy Mays could tell them, “I wish I could stay longer, but this is a clean city.â€
