As Seen on TV Network Comic #02 is here — and this one’s all about the PedEgg.

Created by Greg Pearson of the 100 Movie Posters blog, this installment of the ASOTVN webcomic series takes one of the most iconic As Seen on TV products and gives it a comedic twist.

The PedEgg — that egg-shaped foot smoother that became a cultural phenomenon — finally meets its match: the PedChicken. Because if there’s a PedEgg, there has to be a PedChicken, right?

For those unfamiliar, the PedEgg was one of the best-selling As Seen on TV products of all time. It’s a handheld foot file shaped like an egg that smooths away rough, dry, callused skin. Simple concept. Brilliant execution. Over 40 million sold.

But the PedChicken? Well, you’ll have to see the comic to find out what that’s all about.

The ASOTVN webcomic series brought a dose of humor to the world of direct response products — because when you sell products through TV infomercials, you need to be able to laugh at yourself. And the As Seen on TV industry has always been good at that.
