Livemercial is excited to announce that our social media team will be giving a workshop at the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce tomorrow, August 25th. The workshop is designed for local business owners and professionals who want to learn how to leverage social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and UStream to grow their businesses and connect with customers in new and meaningful ways.

Social media has exploded in 2009. Twitter alone has gone from a niche platform to a mainstream communication tool used by everyone from local shop owners to Fortune 500 companies. At Livemercial, we’ve been on the forefront of this revolution, using social media not just as a marketing channel but as a way to build genuine relationships with our community. Now we want to share what we’ve learned with the businesses right here in our backyard.

The workshop will cover the basics of getting started on the major social media platforms, strategies for creating engaging content, and practical tips for measuring your results. Whether you’re a complete beginner or you’ve been dabbling in social media and want to take it to the next level, there will be something for everyone. Our team will also be available after the presentation to answer individual questions and help attendees get set up.
